But it all worked out- and with the tail wind, we were 7 minutes early. Good - Morgan and I had to go - bad! The rest of the trip was uneventful - Shannon picked us up - no one had to wait - and we fell into bed. We were exhausted, but what a great trip!About Me

- We love to take family road trips - Dave, Susan, Morgan, Kendra and Kody when he can go too. We collect state magnets so we know what states we have been to, so we can plan the next vacation. I (Susan, mostly) am going to (try to) use this to share our family adventures. Vacations, events, and such. Saturday July 5
Time to head home. We packed up and stowed our luggage at the hotel for awhile. We went in for some shopping. It took a few stores but we found everything. We ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe - best burgers and fries! We took the Metro to the airport. That was interesting hauling our suitcases through the stations - but hey, why not? We boarded and then they said that the weather in Houston may delay us. They were waiting for a new flight plan and we could be about a half hour delayed. We were a little concerned since we only had an hour and didn't know how close the next gate was. 
But it all worked out- and with the tail wind, we were 7 minutes early. Good - Morgan and I had to go - bad! The rest of the trip was uneventful - Shannon picked us up - no one had to wait - and we fell into bed. We were exhausted, but what a great trip!
