- We love to take family road trips - Dave, Susan, Morgan, Kendra and Kody when he can go too. We collect state magnets so we know what states we have been to, so we can plan the next vacation. I (Susan, mostly) am going to (try to) use this to share our family adventures. Vacations, events, and such. So needless to say, there won't be daily entries, and maybe not even monthly, but I'll post something, along with pictures, from time to time. So, if you're so inclined, check back once in a while.

Laundry Woes
You know that tube of Chapstick that went through your laundry and then through the dryer!?! Any stain through the dryer is usually permanent. BUT - we had a whole load of laundry that got splattered with chapstick - pink chapstick at that. And through the dryer - twice. We soaked it in vinegar/water. Then again in Spray and Wash. Nope - greasy spots all over Dave's new shirt...and his favorite Barrett Jackson shirt. (Well obviously Daddy wasn't happy) Test for color fastness - then try Spot Shot carpet cleaner! It worked like a champ! I sprayed it all over the clothes, and soaked the spots. All is well in LaundryLand and in the Moke-parent household once again.

Whoa! I gotta get some of that carpet cleaner... I just "ruined" a load of my favorite shirts with a tube of Burt's Bees... very similar to Chapstick.
